Synopsis: Don Fernando has just sold his menswear shop in San Francisco’s Mission District and retired rich. He’s given up home and family to be successful but has maintained a link with the local Mexican community as El Patron, the wise and charitable businessman. In a moment of arrogance and magnanimity he decides to bankroll the aspirations of busboys working at his favorite restaurant, El Zarape. The decision has far-reaching consequences, the busboys choose a better lifestyle, havoc ensues in the restaurant toilets, and Don Fernando jeopardizes his only lifeline to joyous living.
